Rod Morris 
Executive Officer - Finance

Rod serves as the Executive Officer - Finance at the Queensland Independent Schools Block Grant Authority (QIS BGA). In this role, with he has held for over 10 years, Rod oversees the financial management and administration of the Queensland Government State Capital Assistance Scheme (SCAS). His responsibilities include ensuring that independent schools receive the necessary government funding to construct, refurbish, and upgrade educational facilities.

Before joining QIS BGA, Rod held various senior finance positions in the private sector, including roles at National Australia Bank for 8 years and BNP Paribus for 18 years. His previous roles included Senior Partner and Director. With a strong background in corporate finance and analytics, Rod plays an important role in enhancing the learning environments in the independent school system across Queensland.
