Design Quality and Delivery Workshop
ISQ and QIS BGA are excited to announce the Design Quality and Delivery Workshop. Part of the 2026-2027 Workshop Series.
This workshop is designed to equip school leaders and staff develop a shared understanding of design quality and the confidence to champion quality throughout project planning, design and delivery. It seeks to support schools to make informed decisions and work collaboratively with consultants to achieve quality learning environments.
To complete the full workshop, full attendance at both sessions is required, with the cost charged for session one covering the complete workshop. Please register separately for each.
Session 1 - QISS 18 - 21 August
The first session will be held during the Design and Construction Forum at the Queensland Independent Schools Summit.
Session 1 will help schools:
- Build a shared understanding of what design quality means in a school setting.
- Recognise the factors that shape design outcomes, including effective project definition, team roles, procurement and collaboration across the project team.
Session 2 - Tuesday 8 September
Session 2 will help schools:
- Understand how to use the Design Quality & Delivery Guide and adopt the range of practical tools and checklists provided to improve project definition, communication, clarify responsibilities and support cost-quality alignment across the project lifecycle.
